Single bet is when you pick the outcome of one event. You can win the odds multiplied by your stake. You can make a series of single bets using the ‘Single’ tab at the top of the betting slip.
Combination bet is a bet that depends on the outcome of more than one event – you can add up to 12 events. This is an accumulator and you need to have predicted every event correctly to get a return. If you win, your stake will be multiplied by the total odds of the selected events.
Multiples bet will list all the different combination bets available within your selections. You can then bet on them but remember – your stake is multiplied by the number of possible outcomes. So if you select 8 sports events and wanted to bet ‘six folds’ (combinations of 6), your stake would be multiplied by 28, as that's how many winning combinations of 6 are possible within your 8 selections.
A Trixie is when you select 3 events and place 4 bets – 3 doubles and 1 treble.
A Yankee is when you select 4 events and place 11 bets – 6 doubles, 4 trebles and 1 fourfold.
The minimum that you can bet is $1 AUD for all other currencies.
The maximum stake will vary for different bets. If the stake you enter on the betting slip is above the maximum stake you will be given a few options. You can either lower your bet to the maximum stake or request that your entire bet is accepted via the betslip.
Odds may change while you place a live bet, but we will always confirm new odds with you first. Action bets (e.g. a bet on the next point in tennis) may also close before you place them.
Originating in Indonesia, the Asian Handicap is now the most popular bet type around the globe. It offers you more freedom in betting, providing a wider range of odds to choose from.
We set a range of handicaps for a football fixture, each with different odds. You bet on the team you think will win after its handicap has been applied. If your team is likely to win (has low odds), you can bet at higher odds by going for a negative handicap. Essentially, instead of betting on whether your team will win, you're betting on how many goals they'll win by.
The Asian Handicap eliminates the possibility of a draw when the handicap value is not a whole number. If you pick a whole number handicap and the game ends in a draw after the handicap is applied, then the amount you wagered will be refunded.
Action betting is an exciting experience where bets occur at lightning fast speed. Bet on the next point in tennis, the next scoring method in basketball, or even the next football throw-in.
To try action betting, simply look for the red 'lightning bolt' icon in a specific In-Play event, then place your bet, watch the action and receive any winnings within seconds.
Action betting is available on selected matches on the following sports:
Unless specified otherwise*, all bets placed refer to the result at the end of ‘Regular Time’ or ‘Full Time’ only.
‘Regular Time’ or ‘Full Time’ is defined by the official rules from the respective governing association.
For example:
Football: ‘Full Time’ is 90 minutes plus injury time.
*if your bet is valid for a different time period, this will be stated in conjunction with the bet offer or in the sport specific rules. Example of these types of bets are ‘Draw no bet - 1st half’, ‘Double chance - 1st half’, ‘Handicap - including overtime’, ‘Total points including overtime’ etc.
For the knockout round in a football competition, to bet on the winning team including extra time, you’ll have to select the following bets: ‘Team to go through’/ ‘Team to qualify’ as per the below example:
