AC Milan are coming off back to back wins and maintain third position. Lazio are unbeaten in their last five games and their upcoming match against Genoa will be the perfect opportunity to catch up with the Rossoneri, considering the tough match they have ahead of them. We’ll delve a little deeper into what information you should be looking at when placing a bet on Serie A for the weekend.
Bet on AC Milan vs Inter
The rivalry has been going on since the dawn or the Italian league and these derbies make betting on Serie A all the more interesting. AC Milan are the slight favourites, with odds lucratively priced at 17/10 for them to win. There’s virtually nothing that separates these two teams with regards to history, as they both have 20 wins each and 14 games finished in a draw. Four of Inter’s five most recent games finished in over 2.5 goals and odds are priced at 11/10. From the top four of the table, AC Milan are the least scoring team, finding the net 19 times in 12 games. The Rossoneri won four of their last five games and are coming off back to back wins. They’re in excellent form as they face their city rivals and a win sink Inter further down the table and maintain pressure on second placed Roma. Inter only managed to secure six points from their last five games and can’t afford to lose again.
Bet on Roma
Roma are only four points behind the champions but their next encounter is going to be a real test as they face Atalanta away from home, a team who’s sitting in sixth place and unbeaten in their last five games. Atalanta are in their best form, having netted nine goals in their last five while conceding only one. From their six away games this season, Roma only managed to win two games, losing two and drawing another two. Their form away from home isn’t the best and will need to put in a quite a performance to overcome Atalanta. Roma are the favourites to win the game and are priced very well at 9/10. Atalanta have fantastic odds to collect all three points, with odds currently at 29/10. Want to add a little security to your bet? Try double chance betting on Atalanta, as odds for Atalanta to win or draw the game stand at 10/11, a great bet to add to any accumulator. Not a bad bet considering they have four consecutive wins including a win over Inter.
Bet on Juve
Juve have been dominating the top of the table for what now seems to be an age. Pescara is next on the agenda, a team that’s not only struggling to find its form, but losing another match would make it five from five and sink them further down the relegation zone. It’s almost not worth betting on Juve to win, as odds are priced at 1/7. Your best bet would be to try handicap betting on Juve, as odds for winning the game with a goal difference of three of more stand at 16/15. Juve are looking for their fourth consecutive win and if both Roma and AC Milan fail to win, they will leapfrog away from second and third place and there will be virtually no chance of catching up with the champions.
