Our Punter of the Week is KB, from South Australia, who turned a $6 investment into more than $1800 after landing the First 4 in the sixth race of Wednesday’s inaugural twilight card at Caulfield.
Standing out his preferred pick, Chippenham ($3.20) for 1st, our punter clearly did his maps and boxed a number of horses who raced in the forward half in the 2nd/3rd and 4th positions.
Sure enough, his research came to fruition with Tahlia Hope driving the favourite up along the inside to win a tight finish, and with horses struggling to make up ground the minor places were filled by Jest for the Road ($18) Hunamosa ($11) and Greviste ($8).
With the final STAB dividend settling at a tasty $1856, our punter was suddenly in the money and had plenty of ammunition for the races to follow.
