Our Punter of the Week is CC, from Sydney, who turned a small outlay into a very healthy payday with a series of winning exotic bets on Race 11 at Cranbourne greyhounds on Wednesday night.

Boxing his preferred selections into a series of exactas, trifectas and First 4’s, and with little margin for error over the 311m race distance, our punter would have been delighted to see the red dog (1), Betwixt, jump cleanly; with plenty of trouble behind her mid-race, the Ian-Dann trained bitch was able to hold off the challenge of Yelredda Saint (also included amongst his combinations) to claim a maiden win at her fifth race start.

With the final First 4 dividend settling at a huge $5,280 on the Victorian TAB, our punter’s 26c stake netted him a cool $1372 for that outcome and the combined result of his exotic bets on the race saw him finish more than $4,000 in front for his troubles.
