Our Punter of the Week is WE, from Umina, who turned a lobster ($20 note) into $2,000 after striking a winning treble to kickstart Saturday’s Randwick meeting.

Our punter’s multi was off to a successful start with Newtown Bluebag ($6.50) finishing like a jet to overwhelm Fui San and claim the Highway Handicap under Blaike McDougall, and with favourites selected in legs two and three he must have grown in confidence.

Sure enough, Gerald Ryan’s Pendeloque ($4.40) improved her record to three wins from just six starts after fighting off the challenge of From Within to claim the ATC Membership Sprint and with Cordero ($4.60) also able to run down Waking Moment to win Race 3 our client suddenly had 2 grand in his pocket to enjoy the rest of his weekend.
