Our Punter of the Week is DW, from Sydney, who had a healthy collect after landing the quaddie at Caulfield on Saturday afternoon.

Standing out Vega Magic ($2.10) in the Bletchingly Stakes, and combining 3-4 of the favoured runners in each of the other legs to produce 48 individual combinations and a total outlay of $149, our punter was off to a winning start with Self Sense ($5) able to finish over the top of Sasko and Bondeiger to claim the VOBIS Gold Stayers (Race 6).

With Vega leading them a merry dance in the Group 3 feature, it was then on to the Gold Reef where DW had all three placegetters amongst his remaining combos, Darren Weir’s Snitzepeg ($5) producing a strong effort to win by more than 2 lengths.

Alive heading into the last, our punter had Nathan Punch to thank after the apprentice drove hard to get Chamois Road ($10) over the line ahead of Lizard Island and, with the final dividend returning a handy $784.70 he was $2,448 better off for his troubles.
