Our Punter of the Week is AM, from Sydney, who turned a $5 investment into a whopping $5000 payout after a successful exotic bet in Race 6 at Happy Valley on Wednesday night.

At around the same time as Cameron Smith was lifting the Origin shield, our punter boxed his three preferred trifecta selections (for an 83c unit stake and $5 total expenditure) and would have been over the moon after Flying Quest, an $81 chance trained by Makybe Diva’s former handler David Hall, found the winning post ahead of Green Card and Dollar Reward.

With the SuperTAB trifecta dividend returning a lazy $6094, our punter was $5000 richer for his efforts and had plenty of reason to celebrate.
