Tiger Of Malay (2.70) (in below tweet) launches his spring campaign in this Group 3 event for 3YOs, to be held in the ‘Gong this year as a result of ongoing COVID restrictions in Sydney.
The chestnut acquitted himself admirably against some very capable juveniles during the autumn before progressing north to land the BRC Sires Produce at Group 2 level, vindicating the decision to train on for the Brisbane age group features.
Entered for the Golden Rose, he got home soundly in his only trial and despite conceding at least 7kgs to the majority of the field he looks to have them covered, with the Freedman brothers’ willingness to send him into battle first-up under 61kgs a fair pointer of their confidence in his abilities.
Going to extremes. Cause for much celebration for some of Australia’s leading owners as Tiger of Malay – racing in the @Chinahorseclub colours – captures the $1m Group 2 James Squire BRC Sires’ Produce S. at Eagle Farm …1 pic.twitter.com/lAZXxZGMmt

Team Snowden will have two entries with Construct (10.00) (in below tweet) overcoming some traffic problems in the straight to break his maiden status around this circuit last Saturday.
He’s a better horse on top of the ground and should find conditions to his liking here, although the camp weren’t getting carried away about his prospects.
CONSTRUCT broke his maiden ”with a booming run!”

Revivalist (10.00) (in below tweet) meanwhile, was ridden forward last start and arguably cost himself victory having shifted out inside the final 100m when he looked to have enough in hand to fend off the smart War Eternal.
Back slightly in trip, he’s my quinella horse with Tommy Berry aboard.
Revivalist runs tonight at Newcastle. @AlyshaCollett rides for @SnowdenRacing1. Good luck to our partners! pic.twitter.com/5seXBi6Hjx

Concocted (6.50) will represent the Waterhouse/Bott combination in preference to Silent Impact with the chestnut showing considerable promise in his two starts to date.
Still very much learning his craft, he broke his maiden status at the first time of asking out at Hawkesbury before closing off nicely behind his stablemate at Rosehill.
The extra distance should suit but not sure he can match it with the favourite and expect he may be a little soft in the market come raceday.
Of the others, Coastwatch (6.00) raced a little keenly first-up and didn’t have much in hand at the finish but he should strip fitter for the run and is in good hands.
Favourite backers cheer! Brigantine defies a late betting drift to win the opener in blustery conditions at Randwick Kensington for @KPMcEvoy and @godolphin! pic.twitter.com/H9tWQjBgla

Meanwhile, Brigantine (6.50) in above tweet) brings winning form for Godolphin after getting the cash at Kensington.
My Tip: Tiger Of Malay (2.70) (win)
