Mick Price & Michael Kent
“He’s going super, he’ll need to be very good.”
Queen Elizabeth Stakes
Race 8, 2000m
Very tough race, probably the race of the season.
He’s going super, he’ll need to be very good.
We didn’t want the rain to fall because for his first go at 2000m, it’s going to be real tough staying test.
These horses, their seasoned campaigners, you know Verry Elleegant (3.00), Zaaki (5.00), Duais (6.00) and even Anamoe (4.80), the 3YO.
They’re going to be tough to beat, so we’re just hoping for the best.
Michael's Tip: I’m Thunderstruck (13.00) (win)
“He gets the chance right down in the weights in a race like this.”
We’ve got Indian Dreamer (in below tweet) in Race 4 which is a Bm85 over 2020m, Larry Cassidy to ride.
He was a good 3rd over at the Gold Coast over 1800m with about 5 weeks inbetween runs.
He’s come through that run nicely and he gets the chance right down in the weights in a race like this.
He’ll be reasonable odds, he’s got a great each way chance.
So even though he’s drawn a bit awkward, Larry Cassidy is a good strong rider and I’m confident he can get the best out of this horse.

“Should get a lovely run, he raced really really well there before.”
We’ve got Influential Jack (in below tweet) running around Caulfield on Saturday in a nice sort of race.
Looks quite even, we’ve drawn really nicely, we’ve gone in with the claim, getting him better in the weights.
Should get a lovely run, he raced really really well there before.
Thought he was a nice little each way chance.
