Having jumped awkwardly, Craig Newitt settled the Heinrich/Rodgers trained mare Cabin Fever at the tail end of the field before unleashing a powerful run up along the rails to claim the race by half a length from La Scopa and Cabeirian.

With Knock Toff edging out the two main fancies for fourth our punter’s bet was a winner, the final STAB dividend of $16,916.90 ensuring a return of $2,706.70 for his efforts.
