Our Punter of the Week is KL, from Sydney, who landed a huge treble in Melbourne over the weekend.
Kicking things off at the Valley on Friday night, Fill the Flute got our punter up and running with a comfortable win under apprentice Georgina Cartwright.
From there it was off to Flemington where talented stayer Avilius made it four wins in succession with a hard-fought effort in the Bart Cummings, holding off the challenge of Jaameh to earn an exemption for the Melbourne Cup.
It was left to Chris Waller’s Invincibella to complete the bet, the mare surging to a comprehensive win in the Blazer Stakes to round off a miserable afternoon for us.
