Our Punter of the Week is LD, from Sydney, who won in excess of $5,000 after landing a Top Fluc treble at Saturday’s Rosehill Gardens meeting.

Kicking things off in Race 4, our punter watched on as Sky Boy, positioned fourth in the run by Christian Reith, opened up a winning break at the furlong mark and made it four wins in succession to remain firmly on track for next month’s Villiers Stakes.

Edging on to Race 7, the Country Classic over 2000m, an assured ride from Kerrin McEvoy saw Rapture Miss to victory, the Matthew Dale-trained mare holding a 1 ¼ length margin over roughie Charlie Royale on the line.

Indeed, it was left to the Melbourne Cup winning jockey to complete the bet with Napoleon Solo, who looked in some trouble halfway down the straight, eventually able to overwhelm Turnberry and salute for favourite backers.
