Standing out his preferred pick Heaven’s Gate ($8.50), one of only a handful of horses trained by Jane Hossell in country WA, our punter would have been delighted to see the 4YO gelding unleash a strong run from midfield to record his third win from 11 starts.

With leader Meritocracy ($41) holding on for third and $15 shot Omerta also in the mix, the First4 paid a whopping $12,330 on STAB and gave this long-standing client a total payout of $12,874 for his $1.04 unit stake.
