Punter Scores Nice Win On Randwick Quaddie

August 5, 2018

Our Punter of the Week is PM, from Western Australia, who turned a small investment into almost $2,500 after landing the quadrella at Randwick on Saturday afternoon.

Sticking mainly with runners ‘in the market’ and applying a $1.25 unit stake to his 48 individual combinations for a total outlay of $60, our punter was in business as Godolphin runner Intuition surged to the front at the 150m mark in Race 6 to make it back-to-back wins.

With favourites Kementari and Pierata in his pocket in the Missile Stakes, our punter had little reason to fret as those two runners settled down to fight it out, Greg Hickman’s charge continuing his fine form from the summer with a nice first-up win.

With the Toowoomba-based Bergerac among his selections in Race 8, our punter was alive heading into the last and again had the Godolphin camp to thank, mare Soothing opening right up to score by more than four lengths after James McDonald hooked her back towards the inside shortly after straightening.

With the final dividend settling at $1961.60 on STAB, our punter collected $2,452 for his troubles and had plenty of ammunition to hit the town on Saturday night.

Nice work PM!
