Thereafter, it was left to Robbie Griffiths’ Saveyourenthusiasm to complete the bet, the 5YO registering a fifth career win by an emphatic margin courtesy of a lovely ride from Matthew Allen in the last race at Bairnsdale.

With the Best Tote dividends returning $6.10 and $6.80 respectively, our punter’s $100 outlay had morphed into $4148 and given him plenty of reason to celebrate.
