Our Punter of the Week is RB, from Sydney, who won close to $11,000 after placing a successful favourites treble at Saturday’s soggy Rosehill Gardens meeting.

Kicking things off in the Pago Pago Stakes (Race 4), our punter watched on as Snowden colt Cosmic Force surged into Slipper contention with a runaway win, rounding up leaders Mo’s Crown and Born A Warrior at the 300m mark before powering away to hold a margin in excess of seven lengths at the finish.

As it was, RB had James McDonald to thank again as he piloted Verry Elleegant to a strong win in the Phar Lap Stakes (Race 5) with the ex-Weir filly, now in the hands of Chris Waller, a dominant winner ahead of Seabrook and Aristia in spite of a racing style that doesn’t really strike a chord with her name.

With recent Blamey Stakes winner Fifty Stars in his pocket in the Ajax Stakes (Race 8), RB looked in some degree of trouble at the furlong mark but the bay eventually wound up under Jye McNeil to overwhelm Mask of Time and Dyslexic in a close finish to leave him celebrating.
